Welcome to the homepage of the Torrey Pines Scale Soaring Society! We are a group of radio-controlled model sailplane enthusiasts dedicated to the social, educational, recreational, and sporting activities of those involved in the building and flying of radio-controlled scale model sailplanes at the Torrey Pines Gliderport and other locations in San Diego County.
Pilots
Be a part of a great club of RC pilots sharing techniques and ideas for building exact flying replicas of manned sailplanes. Explore and share in the history of gliders as well as the history of locations like Torrey Pines.
Club Meetings
Club monthly meetings are held at the Tecolote Canyon Recreation Center in Morena. From Interstate 5 exit at Sea World Drive and go east. Continue east until you see the recreation center on your right. Meetings start at 7pm on the fourth Thursday of every month except November and December.
